Plans are underway for the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, presented by Radiology Partners Georgia. Your generosity and support of the 2023 ‘Throne of Hope’ helped us raise over $108,000 to help create Hope and Healing Gardens for the John B. Amos Cancer Center and continue to fund the Pink Ribbon Comfort Bags for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients at the Elena Amos Breast Care Center.
The 2024 Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon will highlight the importance of scheduling annual mammograms, early detection, ultrasounds, diagnostic screenings, and imaging. The Luncheon will be held Tuesday, October 1st, at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center, with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. so guests can enjoy our annual Pink Partner Expo. The tradition of entertaining will continue at 11:30 a.m. with a keynote address and an inspiring story of hope from our breast cancer survivor. All proceeds from the Luncheon and community events throughout the month of October will be used to purchase a new DEXA system for the Elena Amos Breast Care Center.
