Epic will reduce the number of forms our patients have to complete when they visit a Piedmont hospital or physician because their medical history and registration information is already available.Our patients will have one Piedmont bill and one customer service number to call for questions or issues related to that bill.

Through Epic’s secure patient web portal, Piedmont MyChart, Piedmont patients can contact their physician with medical questions, refill requests, appointment requests and lab results. Patients can review their medical history including medications, immunizations and allergies. They can even review information related to other family members whose care they help manage. All of this is available from their computer or through a free app on iPhones, iPads and Android devices.With Piedmont MyChart’s “Lucy” feature, patients can download their medical information into a single secure document that they can share with new healthcare providers.
