Scientific Review Committees Initiate A Study E-Forms & Systems Supporting Your Trial
Scientific Review Committees (SRC) are therapeutic-specific and meet on a monthly basis. Each SRC maintain separate deadlines for submission. SRC review is required for all therapeutic, behavioral, laboratory, and secondary data studies regardless of phase or funding. Studies must receive approval of the therapeutic-specific SRC prior to IRB submission. To submit a study for SRC review, the therapeutic-specific SRC and contact information are as follows:
Once a study is approved, the SRC submits the required documentation to the ORS for IRB submission and pre-award negotiations of the clinical trial agreement and budget.
NOTE: The Piedmont Entity [Piedmont Hospital Scientific Review Committee] is established for studies in therapeutic areas outside the other established review committees.
