Audiology at Piedmont
Piedmont's rehabilitation clinic offers individualized audiology therapy sessions as well as multidisciplinary treatments. For most procedures, patients who need a multidisciplinary treatment plan have the option to schedule one or all therapy disciplines on the same day. The outpatient therapy team attends a weekly meeting to discuss patients' progress and needs.
Our audiology services include:
- Comprehensive hearing evaluation by a licensed and certified audiologist
- Behavioral, immittance, tympanometry and evoked otoacoustic emissions testing
- Cochlear implant candidacy evaluation
- Cochlear implant programming
- Auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing
- Central auditory processing evaluation
- Hearing aid fitting, maintenance, repair and analysis
- State-of-the-art digital hearing aid technology with smartphone connectivity options
- Assistive listening device consultation
- Patient education and counseling
Services at Piedmont Augusta
Currently, Piedmont Augusta is the only facility offering outpatient audiology services. Outpatient diagnostic and hearing rehabilitative services are available Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The outpatient center is located at 1430 Harper Street, Suite C3, Augusta, GA 30901.
