Outpatient Surgery
Piedmont Newton Hospital's Surgical Unit was created for patient's convenience and comfort with the highest quality health care in mind. Because patients are usually discharged the day of their surgery (Same Day Surgery), recovery at home is facilitated by our highly qualified and caring nursing staff. Patients receive detailed verbal and written instructions about the recovery process.
Our expertly trained staff will also provide you with complete information regarding the prescribed procedure.
Pain Management Services are provided in the Surgical Center. Pain Management has helped hundreds of individuals who suffer from chronic pain. Since lower back pain affects at least half of the American population, this is the most common type of condition referred to the Pain Center. The patients are referred by their physicians, or may call the Pain Center directly for an appointment. The treatments are conducted by appointment on an outpatient basis Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
