Care Partner Policy (Updated December 4, 2024)
The number of visitors allowed in patient rooms has returned to normal operating procedures. All hospital entrances are now open with a passive screening recommendation for visitors.
Please contact the hospital at 770-979-0200 for additional information regarding our visitation policy.
- Visiting hours remain from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A PBX operator will announce the end of visitation.
- COVID-positive patient visitation will continue to be handled at the unit level.
- Children 12 and under are still restricted from visiting.
Women's Services
The Women’s services department and BH at the south campus will continue to restrict visitation and follow their same operating procedures until further notice.
No Patient Left Alone Act
During the 2024 legislative session, the Georgia General Assembly passed the No Patient Left Alone Act, which was signed into law by Governor Brian Kemp on May 6, 2024, and made effective on July 1, 2024. This legislation establishes visitation rights for individuals admitted to hospitals and long-term care facilities.
