At Piedmont, we believe that volunteering is a way to give back to the community. We are looking for people who have a passion for making a difference in people's lives through donating time, gifts and talents to assist our patients, staff and visitors. Volunteering connects people who have the same interests and provides the opportunity to make new friendships with other volunteers, patients and hospital staff. Volunteering at a hospital shows your dedication to helping others. Volunteer duties include escorting patients, assisting with directions, clerical work, and giving measures of comfort. Areas of volunteer need are as diverse as your own interests.
Piedmont values its volunteers and knows that it needs volunteer help to maintain its standard of excellence. We provide excellent benefits to those who serve. Benefits volunteers may enjoy include complimentary parking, job and school references, building relationship within the local community, and most important, making a difference in the lives of patients, visitors, and staff.
All volunteers are required to undergo a background check and health screenings prior to volunteer service.
