Thyme-stuffed mushrooms are a healthy and delicious appetizer at any holiday party. Chef Nancy Waldeck of Thomas F. Chapman Family Cancer Wellness at Piedmont, shares a fun and easy recipe that will be perfect for your guests.
Step One:
Take the stems from the mushroom, sauté them with a little bit of red onion, and olive oil, salt and pepper.
Step Two:
Add in a little bit of panko, some thyme. Finish it off with a little bit of parmesan cheese.
Step Three:
Stuff it into our mushroom caps. Bake for 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Done and delicious.
