SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to your use of the applicable text messaging services offered by Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. on behalf of itself and its affiliates (“Piedmont”) and its partner organizations. Piedmont may update these terms at any time, without prior notice to you. Any updates to these terms will be effective as of the date listed on this page.
 

Piedmont Mobile Texts

The following terms and conditions (“Piedmont Mobile Terms”) apply to your use of the Piedmont mobile text messaging services (“Piedmont Mobile Texts”) listed below:

MyChart Mobile Text Messaging (“MyChart Mobile Texts”)

  • By Opting-In (defined below), you agree to be bound by these Piedmont Mobile Terms.  Piedmont Mobile Texts allow patients to receive informational text messages to their mobile phone from Piedmont relating to your visits, Piedmont MyChart account, one-time passcode, billing notifications, prescription reminders, and care management. This program will support text-2-pay functionality. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may be charged by mobile service providers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
     
  • How to Opt-In: You may opt-in to Piedmont Mobile Texts by signing up on your patient registration consent form (“Opting-In”).  By Opting-In, you consent to receive mobile text alerts using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent to receive Piedmont Mobile Texts is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or receiving any services. By Opting-In, you are confirming that you are over the age of eighteen (18) and that you are providing us with a valid mobile number.
     
  • Help Information: For additional information or general assistance, please contact us at 855-788-6277. For additional information or assistance relating to a specific Piedmont Mobile Texts program, please text “HELP” to the number for the applicable Piedmont Mobile Texts program(s) listed below:

  • Stop Information: To stop receiving Piedmont Mobile Texts from the program(s) listed below, please text “STOP” to the number for the applicable Piedmont Mobile Texts program listed below:

    You will receive a confirmation text.  If you do not receive the confirmation text, you may still receive text messages from the applicable Piedmont Mobile Texts program.  Please text “STOP” to the applicable number above until you receive a confirmation text that you have opted out.
     

Privacy

At Piedmont, we take your privacy seriously. Any information we collect through Piedmont Mobile Text (such as phone number) will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
