Dr. Hwang brings a wealth of experience and expertise in general and bariatric surgery, enhancing our commitment to exceptional patient care.

Dr. Hwang has been in practice since 2017, performing advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgeries. He treats a wide range of conditions, including abdominal wall hernias, gastrointestinal tract disorders, and gallbladder diseases. His practice philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on his patients' overall health rather than solely on the surgical problem. Dr. Hwang employs a multi-disciplinary approach for his weight loss patients, collaborating with dieticians, psychologists, and exercise physiologists to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Dr. Hwang's impressive educational background includes a medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, a residency at The Stamford Hospital, and a fellowship at The Lahey Clinic. His extensive training and experience have equipped him with the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional surgical care. 

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Hwang is an avid runner who has completed three marathons and is looking forward to his next race. He enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his wife and son.
