Athens, Ga. (August 22, 2024) – Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center and Piedmont Physicians Group are pleased to announce that Alexander Graf, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery, has joined the Piedmont Athens Regional Orthopedic and Sports Medicine practice, located at the Oconee Health Campus.

Dr. Graf specializes in hand and upper extremity surgical procedures, treating common and complex conditions from the shoulder to fingertips. He provides treatment for conditions such as shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff tears, as well as fractures, dislocations, compressive neuropathy, tendinopathy and other upper extremity conditions.

Dr. Graf earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, after which he completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery at Emory University. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Graf served as an Associate Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
