Conyers, Ga. (November 27, 2023) –Piedmont Rockdale Hospital and Piedmont Heart and Vascular of Rockdale are pleased to welcome Kathryn Swanson, M.D., to the practice. Dr. Swanson specializes in vascular surgery and provides care for a wide range of vascular surgery pathology with both open and endovascular treatment approaches. She provides treatment for aortic disease, carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access, and superficial and deep venous disease.

Dr. Swanson is new to Georgia, as she was born and raised in Chicago. She completed her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine before finishing an Integrated Vascular Surgery residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center.
