Conyers, Ga. (October 24, 2023) – Piedmont Rockdale Hospital and Piedmont Physicians Surgical Specialists Conyers are pleased to welcome Melinda Bottenfield, D.O., to the practice. Dr. Bottenfield has been practicing medicine for five years and has special interests in treating benign and malignant conditions of the body, including but not limited to the skin, soft tissues, gallbladder, hernias/abdominal wall, gastrointestinal tract, hemorrhoids, and breast.

Dr. Bottenfield completed her medical degree at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama, before completing her residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Bottenfield is certified in robotic surgery and board-eligible in general surgery. She joins Shaoxu Bing, M.D.; Rikka Mohorn, M.D.; and Andrew Harper, M.D.
