Current Responsibilities

Greg Boone is the Foundation Operations Specialist at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. In his role, he assists in managing the donor database–Raiser’s Edge–across all three Piedmont Foundation entities (Piedmont Healthcare Foundation, Piedmont Athens Regional Foundation, and Piedmont Columbus Regional Foundation) by overseeing the processing of gifts, maintaining constituent records, and preparing monthly financial reports. He is also responsible for the regular data adjustments, edits, management, and accuracy of the employee giving program–Count Me In–for all three Piedmont Foundations.

Prior Experience 
Greg has over 12 years of experience working as a donor database manager both in healthcare and non-profit sectors. He comes to Piedmont from the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund where he served as the Senior Database and Research Associate for the last four and half years. Prior to that he served in two capacities at Open Hand Atlanta, first as a Volunteer Manager and then as the Donor Database Manager. Greg got his start in database management at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Education, Awards and Community 
Originally from Laurel, Mississippi, Greg attended Mississippi State University where he graduated with both a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. Greg now lives in Tucker, Georgia, with his wife Jenny and their son, Sutton.
