Snellville, Ga. (Aug. 30, 2024) – Piedmont Eastside Medical Center and Piedmont Physicians Group are pleased to announce the expansion of local services with the opening of Piedmont Primary Care in Lawrenceville on Old Norcross Road.
With the opening of this new practice, Piedmont is excited to have the ability to expand primary care access to the residents of the city of Lawrenceville. This location will offer services for well and sick visits, annual exams, sports physicals, vaccinations and immunizations, preventative care and more. Patients will also have access to same-day appointments, online scheduling, and video visits for safe access to our exceptional care team.
The practice consists of two medical professionals to take care of you:
Rasha Al Samara, M.D., FACP
Dr. Rasha Al Samara is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with extensive experience as a primary care provider, having practiced since 2008. She previously served for five years as an assistant professor at Wayne State University in Michigan, where she was deeply involved in teaching and academic endeavors. Her contributions to the field earned her fellowship in the American College of Physicians.
Vini Sebastian, FNP
Vini Sebastian is a Nurse Practitioner from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. She has more than 20 years of clinical experience and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Sebastian has experience in caring for patients with various neurology disorders such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, migraines, and epilepsy, as well as in providing care for general surgical patients with abdominal issues, urology disorders, and bariatric surgery.
