Psychiatry GME Didactics

Didactics take place mostly on Wednesday afternoons (during protected time).

PG1 didactics are focused on practical clinical skills that will prepare the residents for their clinical experiences while PG2-4 didactics become more advanced and specialized.

Psychotherapy didactics occur weekly as well. In the PG1 and PG2 years residents are taught concepts that define the different schools of psychotherapy. In PG3 and PG4 residents put their psychotherapy skills in action and participate in weekly psychotherapy group and individual supervision.
