Dr. Garrett Harp received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He then completed his internal medicine internship and residency followed by his pulmonary/critical care fellowship at Naval Medical Center San Diego in California. He served 11 years as a medical officer in the United States Navy. His experiences as a military physician include working as an ICU medical director at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune and teaching Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) courses to Navy healthcare workers, Navy SEALs, and MARSOC Marines. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served on 4 Navy medical response missions to aid hospitals and medical centers in different regions of the U.S. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Harp is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Arthur earned her undergraduate degree at Ohio University, studying both biological sciences and psychology. She received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, IL followed by her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Nassau University Medical center in New York. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology as well as board eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and Society of Critical Care Medicine. Her areas of focus include asthma, bronchiectasis, COPD, lung cancer, and interstitial lung diseases.
In her spare time, Dr. Arthur enjoys spending time with her family and dog and adventures in her new city. She also enjoys traveling, cooking and exploring different dining experiences and cuisines. Dr. Arthur is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
Dr. Rahim Wooley earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and received his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Wooley then completed both an internship and residency in internal medicine at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. He went on to complete fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School where he served as a Chief Fellow. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and is an elected member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (recognized for his dedication to patient care).
Dr. Wooley treats a wide variety of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease. He also cares for patients in the medical intensive care unit, with a particular interest in utilizing critical care ultrasound.
In his spare time, Dr. Wooley enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, watching sports, and learning to golf. Dr. Wooley is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
Arvind Ponnambalam, M.D., earned his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. He went on to do his internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Ponnambalam is board certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and internal medicine. He is also a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Physicians. His areas of focus include lung cancer, COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung diseases. In his spare time, Dr. Ponnambalam loves spending time with his family, discovering new restaurants, hiking, running, swimming, and cooking.
Juan Israel Gaitan, M.D. earned his undergraduate degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico. He went on to do his internal medicine residency and Critical Care and Pulmonary Disease Fellowship training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Gaitan is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonology and critical care medicine. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians. His special interests include COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, lung nodules and lung cancer. In his free time, Dr. Gaitan enjoys spending time with his family, racing, exercise, biking, reading and cooking.
Dr. Anjali Patel M.D. earned her medical degree from The Medical College of Georgia and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Vanderbilt University. She also received her Bachelor's of Science from The University of Georgia. She is board certified in the American Board of Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine since 2020.

Dr. Carrasco earned his medical degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in the Dominican Republic and completed his Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary sub-specialty at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. He continued his education in Critical Care Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center – The University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York and further completed his training in Sleep Medicine at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Carrasco specializes in chronic lung disease such as Asthma and has a special interest in Sleep disorders. Prior to joining Piedmont Pulmonary/Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Fayette, Dr. Carrasco worked providing Pulmonary and Critical Care services at Norwalk Hospital and Montefiore Hospital.
In his spare time, Dr. Carrasco enjoys spending time with family, sports and traveling.
