Piedmont Atlanta is the first center in Georgia to participate in a clinical study to evaluate the use of the NeoChord Artificial Chordae Delivery System, which offers a surgical beating heart option for treating mitral regurgitation. Dr. Fred Milla, cardiac surgeon at Piedmont’s Marcus Heart Valve Center, discusses this novel technology and shares footage from the operating room during a NeoChord procedure.
