About The Summit
Significant advances in the diagnosis and management of heart failure continue to emerge, compelling the practice of cardiology to constantly evolve. This course will feature up-to-date presentations on the evaluation and treatment of heart failure. Course faculty will review cutting-edge approaches to diagnosis and classification of heart failure. The course will fully review the latest in the techniques and tips for the pharmacological and device management of heart failure. The program is dedicated to providing insight and practical tips with regard to integrating scientific evidence into clinical practice.

Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this activity, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the clinical profile and modern risk stratification of heart failure patients.
- Apply appropriate strategies to optimize use of current and novel drug therapy of heart failure across the spectrum.
- Improve familiarity with the latest guidelines for the treatment of cardiomyopathy.
- Describe current therapeutic strategies for cardiac amyloid and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
- Discuss management of advanced heart failure with mechanical circulatory support and surgical approaches including left ventricular assist devices and cardiac transplantation.
- Discuss strategies for implementation of hemodynamic monitoring and novel device therapies to control congestion and improve outcomes in patients with heart failure.
