Columbus, Ga. (March 18, 2025) – Join Lisette Tanner, M.D., with Piedmont Physicians Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the next Walk With a Doc event on Saturday, April 12, at Lakebottom Park in Midtown Columbus. Check-in begins at 9 a.m., followed by warm-ups and one-mile walk at 9:30 a.m.

“Join me during Black Maternal Health Week to learn more about pregnancy complications, fetal monitoring, genetic testing and the array of services my office provides mothers and babies throughout pregnancy,” said Dr. Tanner. “I’ll be there to answer any questions you may have and to share resources.”

Walks are held on the first Saturday of the month and each walk covers a different topic. Event participants meet and walk with local healthcare experts, asking questions or learning more about a particular topic.
