(January 24, 2025) – Piedmont Athens Regional is proud to announce that its Beautiful You Boutique has received reaccreditation as a post-mastectomy product provider from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc. (ABC). This prestigious reaccreditation underscores the boutique's commitment to providing exceptional care and high-quality products to its patients.

Opened in 2018, the Beautiful You Boutique offers a wide range of products and services designed to support cancer patients, including mastectomy products, wigs, specialty clothing items, and hair and skin products. The boutique plays a crucial role in the continuum of cancer care at Piedmont Athens Regional, which includes access to screenings and testing, advanced treatments from Piedmont's oncology specialists, patient navigation services, and comprehensive support through the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support.

ABC's comprehensive evaluation process included a thorough review of the physical facility and the quality of patient care provided by the Beautiful You Boutique. The evaluation also involved interviews with both staff and patients, as well as a detailed review of organizational documents, including patient care records.
